We took them to the vet tonight and found out that Storm is also a boy. They have no fleas (surprising!), no ear mites, and their temperature and everything else was good. The only thing one of them had was round worm so we had them treated for that right there at the clinic. The rest of shots we waited on since we can’t keep them. The vet said they are anywhere from 8-10 weeks old.
Tomorrow night we are bringing the two of them to their new home. A friend of a friend has been wanting a cat for a while now and when she heard about our situation said that she wants them both! Which is so great. She’s out tonight buying them food and such, she’s so ready to have them. I’m relieved they seem to be going to a good home with a peson who is so excited to have them! Derek and I will bring them to her house/apartment to have them get adjusted to the new place and her while we are still around.
I will be sad to give them away but I have to remember that we rescued them and have given them a better life than they would have got in the wild. And we are giving someone some nice pets
